Thanks for all the advice and posts. I have calmed down since last night when I was pretty red hot about this subject. I really hadn't planned on any kind of confrontation with anyone no matter who it may be. That just isn't my nature. I was needing to "vent" my frustrations last night. As far as I can tell, there is only one other person in this town that advertises home inspections. I am brand new and am just thinking that this person may not want any competition. If this is the case, he will just have to deal with the fact that I am here to stay. I do not plan on making this a "competition"; I am simply starting my own personal business and will do the best that I can. If someone tries to sabotage my marketing, I just have to come up with better ideas. In fact, I already began something different today to keep my business cards in the hands of people who may use my services instead of hanging on a bulletin board.
