Like the others, I let my client know. In a few cases where I knew the seller well and was a friend,I declined the inspection. My friendships are worth more than my work. Some sellers that I knew and didn't care for I could hardly wait to do the inspection
Of course, that only works if you know before hand who owns the house. Declining on-site puts everybody in a bind.
