Except that you are feeding it to your computer, not to your camera, right?
I know, there is software which will capture individual frames from video, however, video resolution on most things is poor resolution, you just don't notice if with the movement (except some low resolution formats - even then, in video, it's acceptable, a still frame would be unintelligible).
I am surprised that the See Snake does not have a still capture feature or a feed to a computer to capture a still (don't need to capture a video - which is what I thought you were referring to).
