attic furnace flex pipe and exhaust stack
found this flex pipe and exhaust pipe in an attic today--and wonder what you think-----that's taking the word flex to the max----the exhaust stack is tilted and there is a 1/2 inch gap between the metal stack and the hard plastic coupler inside furnace----did get a co reading at gap----also should that top opening be covered because of the other stack exit---i wrote the flex pipe up as being stressed and a safety hazard--also wrote up the co reading and gap in stack as safety hazard and recommended a licenced {NATE OR ENERGY STAR} HVAC TECHNICIAN EVALUATE---THATS FOR THE IMPUT
