The material, if stainless, is approved for use. I have heard of, but not seen, corrugated aluminum which would not be good.

It is a little long in my opinion and the bend in the wall box is too sharp. Also, some municipalities do not allow galvanized on natural gas lines.

What is the 4" step to the right?
