Last time I looked, I was the one that owned the business. The jobs I do or do not give my inspector is up to me. How he's paid is also up to me.

He has my approval to fire a client anytime he feels the need to. If I decide to fire a client, I will be damned if I would allow him to re-hire them.

Make no mistake, this is my company, and I can choose who I want to work for, and who I will NOT work for. If I feel a client might be trouble in the future (based on the telephone conversation), I will not schedule the inspection, simple as that.
