Wow that's some roof line. Is that an aluminum valley flashing and then the wood cap. If so it probably works buy why? Thats the question. Whats going on inside under there. Are the ceilings uneven also? Safe comment would be "unconventional roof application noted. REcommend further evaluation by licensed roofer" Unless someone screwed up the framing for an addition. Why would what looks like a one plane roof have a section that's slightly higher than the other.
