I inspected a house yesterday in a resort community on a lake next to the beach. It had a block foundation on a lot that sloped towards the lake therefore the front part of the house was level with the front grade. there were no foundation vents present. The only ventilation was from the louvered crawl space entrance. The area was dry, not humid and had a sand floor. Should the lack of vents be reported?
