Hello to all,
See photos for flue material in this 1946 house. The first 2 pictures were taken in a 2nd floor bedroom "closet". Above the roof line was typical modern b-vent material (but couldn't see the transition due to inaccessible attic -go figure). The 3rd picture is at the furnace/water heater stack connection.
I'm trying to decide if it is transite pipe I'm looking at, as I personally have never run across any. Have heard of/about it, but first time I have had a job where it might be present. When knocked on with my knuckle, it sounded like I was knocking on a clay pot, or ceramic bowl, etc.
Thanks for looking.
