Guess thats why its called a Wish List

Went out to one of the local malls last night for a little Christmas shopping. Me and the wife always like to stop by the tree that has lists with wishes from children in need. You've seen them. You buy the gifts and then someone else donates them.

Well times have changed.

The race car track, ball and glove, Barbie dolls, are a thing of the past.

Nearly every list we looked at had things wished for like a I-Pod, a cell phone, I-Phone, Digital cameras, and believe it or not a Plasma 50 inch television.

Thats when I realized why they are called "wish lists". :D

My daughter and her friends started getting together at Christmas, going out to eat, and instead of buying gifts for each other, they go to the store and take care of some of those tree gifts.

I get surprised what a good kid she is.

Speaking of "wish lists" my granddaughter just registered her first-born, my great grandson on some freakin on-line web-site called Santa's Wish List. He is one year old.... go figure?
