Does anyone have a diagram of a duct chase showing the proper fire/draft stopping at the attic floor level?
I have a vertical duct chase that is open at the attic floor level and trying to get a good visual for a report.

That's for penetrating through a fire-resistance rated assembly, which is not the case in a dwelling unit.

Firestopping chase - in this case it is a plumbing pipe, but the same principle applies to chases with ducts in them.
