New to the site but not a new inspector. I specialize in thermography inspections of Commercial and residential contracts.
I love the impact and added benefits of using infrared in my inspections as the pertain to the client. How many of you are using IR in your diagnostics and reporting?

Although I personally do not do IR inspection (but would like to), you will find plenty of information here and plenty of other inspectors who do use IR technology.

What camera are you using? I looking forward to a T400 This year.

Hey Ron,

I have a P45 HSV and use it for commercial work but find that my other camera
(a Bcam SD ) is the work horse. I like the features with the 400 especially the lay over/IR display but find alot of these features are more for me than the client. I am not sure the expense is worth it since you don't get higher resolution.
For most home inspectors I would suggest the stay with a BCAM-SD untill they can justify the cost. If however you do more commercial work then the P series is almost a necessity.

My B2 Is a very fine camera. But the T400 Will make the job a bit more fun:D IR can help keep your head out of the tank :D
