Does anyone know what the rules are concerning the discharge of water from water softeners directly onto a dirt crawlspace floor? Is it allowed? Thanks for the help.

Nope, not a good idea. If allowed by the municipality it needs to properly discharge into the homes waste line.

To my knowledge *NO* water is allowed to be discharged into the crawlspace area.
In fact, that probably is required to discharge into a drain.
