hey all

thought i knew all the brands and serial number ages for furnaces, but came across a PREMIER FURNACE serial number 064444d8. anybody know the age of this, didn't look that old but i'm 61 and look 45, or so i think

thanks for that info, i get those recalls myself. but my premier is not on that list, nor my model number. still looking for age and i know it is older then 2005.

CVF: Preston's only lists them by model numbers that begin with "C", "G" or "H". None with "0".

Actually, there are also some lold clunkers that begin with "L", "N", "P" and "U", but these would surely (hopefully) not still be in service.

Does it look about 3 years old?

Just a guess here but that 0644 at the beginning of the serial number might be the year and week made.

seller said furnace was there when he bought place and that was in 2005--so that is what threw me on the serial number, i thought the same.going to call a furnace contractor
