What's the correct descriptive term for a toilet which has a base which rests on the floor but which discharges to the rear above floor level (picture attached).

I have seen wall-mounted toilets before, but not one like that. I would probably label it a "rear-discharge", but I don't know the official term.

That is a 'rear outlet' or 'rear discharge' floor mount.

It is different from a wall mount in that it is still supported by the floor, however, it is the same as a wall mount as it is it 'rear outlet' or 'rear discharge'.

Actually that looks to be (the photo shows just enough to entice this presumption, but not enough to confirm it) an integral S-trap like a regular floor mount toilet has, except instead of having the floor/bottom discharge/outlet it has a rear/wall discharge/outlet.

The ones you are describing do not have that downward bend in the integral trap (which now makes it into the 'S') and have a horizontal discharge of the ones you are describing.

Well, you got the name correct "soil stack", but what I think you might be asking for is the name of the fitting that mounts to is a flange made for that purpose (does NOT use a wax seal, uses a neoprene gasket). A wall hung rear outlet toilet requires a wall carrier to support the toilet in the wall ("carry" the toilet).
