Who has seen these fuse panels before? It was a Trio Manufacturing Co. fuse panel labeled "Style: 3W2W - Volts: 125", Rock - Island , Ill. There were three of these (one on each floor and within the attic) in a very large home built in 1900. What does 3W2W designate?

Comments, recommendations, suggestions? Yes, when the wooden cabinet panel (like a laundry chute type cover in a hallway) is opened all of the live eletrical components are exposed....

Andrew,

I'm not THAT old! :)

Never had the privilege of seeing on of those, so I don't know what that designation means, but a guess is that 3W2W may mean it is suitable for 3-wire (240 volt) or 2-wire (120 volt) installations.

Any recommendation would be based on "safety" and would be "replacement".
