I can not find any specific information which relates Membrane roof coverings to high wind velocity standards.
2001 Florida Building Code requires " shingles" sustain 2 hours at 110 mph or 140 with 3 min(or second) gusts in High wind areas.
This is actually a personal question - we're thinking of re-roofing with 100% membrane - but want to be sure it meets the 2001 Florida Building code so we retain our discount.
Any thoughts??
