I always get nervous when the 1st words out of a sellers mouth is "you won't find anything wrong here. I'm a contractor and I did all the re-model work.

When the agent says the house is in great shape makes me nervous also. That thing is a beaut:eek:

I always consider that a challenge. If he follows me around after making that statement I tend to only refer to code as numbers.

"I guess when you built this add on bedroom you forget about IRC 303.1" and while looking at the service panel "What exactly is your interpretation of NEC 110.25A?"

That usually makes him go to the store and leave us alone for awhile.

What I really get nervous on is inspecting another inspector's house. We generally know how to hide things!
