Nah, a sieve has more holes in it. :D
Just tell them that is not an approved roof drain and it needs to be replaced with a proper roof drain, or it can be left CAPPED OFF LIKE IT IS ( :D ) and a real roof drain installed.
It is effectively (almost) "capped off". :eek:
