Texas inspectors may wish to avail themselves of copies of "Residential Construction Performance Guidelines for Professional Builders and Remodelers" Third Edition, from the NAHB. Word has it that this will be the builders' fall-back stance with the demise of the TRCC.
Interestingly, the first edition of this book is that upon which the TRCC performance standards were predicated - and were then filtered through the obscure engineering lens of the lunatics, er, ah, "engineers" at TAMU.:D
