B-Vent in pantry closet

B-vent flue pipe is routed through kitchen pantry closet. Beside one clearance from combustibles I thought that B-vent needed to be enclosed in a chase if passing through rooms or closets.

A chase is going to prevent people from storing combustibles up against the vent. That condition should be reported.
