The plumber on a new construction told me that there was no height requirement for the AAV on the kitchen island. Just accessibility. I believe its 4 in. above the fixture drain and/or 4 in. above the horizontal branch drain. Right or wrong?

4" above the weir of the trap.

Just to clarify...it's a minimum of 4". More is OK.
