We have at least one of those morons out here on the left coast and he is being brought up on an ethics charge plus he is in violation oc California Civil Code 7195. We shall see how this plays out?
My all time favorite was the inspector who several years ago advertised that any defects he found he would fix at a reasonable price. Many agents thought he was sent from agent heaven...... You can't fix stupid.

Another Compton graduate

Identical website to the one on this side of town.

And there are plenty of contradictions in his website verbiage.

He must not be "too proud" of his sample report as the link goes 'high and dry'.

NK: Typical smoke and mirrors approach to marketing. The ones I really hate are those with a fish symbol that harp on and on about their religious affiliations. The same sites usually have wavy flag animated gifs of the American flag, yellow support our troops ribbons, mom's apple pie, and their old Chevrolet, to boot.

Unctuous, slithering bottom feeders all.:D

After some dinking around, I was able to read his sample report at
http://safetyfirsthome.com/hireport.pdf

He referenced "excepted [sic] building practices" in one of his comments.

Explains about greater than 30 inch chimneys need crickets but chimney in picture is only 26 inches wide. (3 bricks and mortar joint wide)

Finds lots of rot and problems but flags them as inspected as opposed to repair.

Maybe the most important thing to note is that his site claims:

"CONSULTING ENGINEERS, STRUCTURAL, MECHANICAL"

And yet, the Texas Board of Professional Engineers does not have him on their roster: Texas Board of Professional Engineers - Search For A Professional Engineer - Results (http://www.tbpe.state.tx.us/search_pe.php?search=pe&intPE=&txtLastName=Ellis&txtFirstName=&txtCity=&txtState=&txtEmployer=&txtExpires=&txtBranch=&txtStatus)=

He has no ICC credentials: https://av.iccsafe.org/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=ICC_July20&WebKey=b7afd990-2e14-4013-a186-aeb405641a95&FromSearchControl=Yes

I guess only a cynic would think that there is money to be made in telling what appear to be such bald faced lies.:D
