If you want to save a few bucks per month, and if your contract expired let them know that you are considering switching to another provider.
I was with them for over 10 years, no contract, after getting all kinds of mailers offering discounts from them for NEW customers only, I called them and told them I was switching to dish.
Several days since doing that they haven't quit calling and sending mail trying to get me back, so far the best offer they offered to get me back was $21.00 a month off for the next year..

This seems to be a fairly standard practice. Had the same thing happen to me with Dish Network and Comcast in the past. When I went to cancel Dish they typed away at the computer for a bit and then told me I had to speak with one more person before everything was complete. The gentleman that jumped on the line said he was a customer specialist?? or something like that and gave mea deal better then new customers were getting at the time. They had me for two more years after that.

Take care,
Dustin

In Ontario you can have upto four receivers in your house under the one digital card. However the Satelite provider doesn't know where the four dishes are other than where you say they are with your subscribtion address, so between yourself and neighours you could have 1 of 4 receivers at different houses. In my case my monthly package comes to $85, if split four ways,... well you do the math.

My package per month is $85. I am still telling myself there is nothing on TV worth watching and in most cases end up watching Discovery, TLC, Nat. Geographic, and the History channel.
