Yeah, use the font color selector in the menu across the top of the message posting window. :D

Have you gone to 'User CP', clicked on 'Edit Options', then scrolled down to the bottom of the page at 'Miscellaneous Options' and selected 'Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing'?

WYSIWYG stands for "What You See Is What You Get"
