Flex vent

What is the clearance on this type of venting. There have been previous posts but I was unable to locate the info.

IF single wall - 6".

IF Type B - 1".

With that tape on there (which is not allowed either) I could not tell which it was.

Also, that is not allowed to "go into" that wall. (Besides the hole needed to be sealed for energy and fireblocking purposes.)

Yeah I know, and of course the owner was there and I could not try to remove it. The vent felt pretty thick, I could not squeeze it and cause a depression.

This Product is made as Single Wall and Double Wall so it would depend on which one is Installed.

Your photo shows direct contact so it would be an improper installation in either product configuration.
