Toilet supply connected to sink supply?

Probably a stupid question, but inspected a house today where the toilet water supply line was tapped off the adjacent sinks water supply line. Is this okay to do? I realize its not like a cross connections with drainage lines, but I have not seen this before...

Code book is not in front of me but, no, I can't think of any reason that is not allowed. (you do mean 1/2" supply)

The Tee is usually tucked away in the floor or wall where you can't see it, but all that water comes from the same source.:cool:

AS long as it has its own supply stop, there is nothing wrong with it.
