HI James and Welcome!

I have not seen anyone on the board from what I would call Eastern KY, about as far East as I have seen is Louisville and Georgetown. Erby Crofutt I think is out of Georgetown, KY.

One of the important things for an inspector is reading comprehension.

Gotta read stuff carefully. It says:
===========

· Passed the National Home Inspector Examination, provided by EBPHI (http://www.homeinspectorexam.org/), the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors on the first attempt. While Kentucky has no statewide testing, this examination is used in many states as the licensing examination.

· Passed the National Inspector Examination required for membership in the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (http://www.nachi.org/).

===========

I don't see anything there about the "NAHI" test.

Though I see I do need to update the dang thing now that Kentucky DOES have licensing. Guess it's been awhile since I read thru the website for update needs. This winter's slow down will be a good time to do that.

Welcome to the forum. I don't post much but I do learn a lot from those around here that are more knowledgeable than myself (almost everyone). I just started in the business this spring and LOVE doing inspections!!! Best wishes in your new business.
