This strain of flu is really bad it is now day 6. The first three days I could not get out of bed or eat. They say it last 7 to 10 days. Hope non of you get it.

Been there, done that, early November.
First 3 days were the worst, some better days 3-6, but was still weak and tired 2 weeks after I went back to work.

Hope you feel better soon.

I have the "T" shirt as well! I felt like I had been hit with a baseball bat for about two days, and then just weak about another week.

Our 13 year old son had H1N1 and ran a fever of 101f for 6 days. 1 day at the hospital and a bunch of meds to keep it from going into pneumonia. He is still weak and he has been better for about 3 weeks!

Just drink plenty of fluids (non-alcohol)!

It seems like the younger you are the harder it hits you.

Being hit SEVERAL times with a baseball bat, yeah, thats a good description of how I felt also. Had 102 fever for only 2 days though.

Sorry to hear that... but... thanks for the post: read it, checked Google Maps (http://maps.google.com/maps/mpl?moduleurl=http://maps.google.com/mapfiles/mapplets/flushot/flushot.xml), discovered the Walgreen's down the street had an H1N1 vaccination clinic this afternoon, so we ran over and got ours.

They say that H1N1 is about over for the year, now it is time for the old seasonal flu!
