Why a head ache Marc? Very simple. You have what looks like a Zinsco Panel, just as bad as a Federal Pacific Stab-lok panel and excessive wire splices in the panel. Simple...flag it and call for further evaluation by a electrician. If you didn't know Zinsco Panels can be latent fire hazards just like FPE panels. Just in case you weren't being sarcastic.

That is just asking for trouble as that opens it up for an electrician who feeds along the bottom to say it is okay.

It is far better to write it up and give information as to why it is bad and know to be problematic and then call for its replacement.

NEVER leave it open for a bottom feeder to to "evaluate it and say it is okay".

Thanks Randy and yes, I was being sarcastic. I just hate having to even look at this type of crap. What the heck are people thinking?

No, that is the kind of panel that is going to give the electrician a headache - IMO just report the obvious problems, note that the electrician may find others, and move on.

Then, if I later find I 'm in need of entertainment, I can pull it into Photoshop and count the neutrals under each terminal, and so on....
