unlisted horizontal draft hood. That and the single walled connector should not be there.

Listed and approved draft hoods only and B-vent only in crawl space.

Condition of chimney?
clean out?
Liner?
Clearances to combustibles off that single walled pipe?
Support?
Screws?

If this is on the water vent pipe, it will act as a second draft hood, and double draft hoods are not permitted. It dilutes exhaust gases and might cause spillage into the crawlspace.

unlisted horizontal draft hood.

That's all it's gonna take for me to give it the red tag. :)

Nice even rusting too.
