Hey, just had the house inspected and they found this:

What is the best way to repair? Do I need to put a sister board the whole length or just screw another board on from about 4' on either side of the crack?

Thanks.

Nothing like slipping in a little advertisement in your post. Wonder if he owns Oklahoma Roofing Co.?

What do you think 20% of his portfolio is in ( Oklahoma's Roofing Company. ) :D

It almost sounds like the original post was a set up for ( Oklahoma's Roofing Company. ) :D

Best

When I got a repair in my Building Roof. My friend suggest one of the best Oklahoma's Roofing Company (http://rangerroofingok.com/). They provided such a good services such as roof repair, roof maintenance and roof Replacement.

Is this the same company that is under investigation by the Oklahoma AG's office? Just curious....

If you can find the name of the truss manufacturer then you can contact them and they will give you a proper repair that is approved by them. This is really what you need. It should be a fairly simple repair.

If we are just going by the picture above, then you probably have a better understanding of what steps should be taken to properly repair the truss. And I agree with contacting the manufacturer (if available). The roof trusses may have been built on site.
