Got a question for ya John. How far should a metal roof tuck under another roof that slopes down to it so the water does not track back up into the attic as a leak? P.S. There is no flashing because of the corragated metal ...

Even with metal roofs you will or should and can have flashing......

I'm trying to visualize what you are describing, do you have a picture?

Mr. Thorne: Yes, what exactly do you mean? Almost any transition from one type of roofing material to another will require flashing. And there are corrugated metal flashings made just for such transitions.

I'm trying to visualize what you are describing, do you have a picture?
No I do not have a picture but mabe can explain better. The main roof slopes down to a differant pitch roof. Where they intersec is the problem.
