Hi Scott,

I was not aware that you are a Flir pricing strategist. If you are looking to offer advice to readers on the price of a B400 you should have the information needed for that advice.

The camera has (3) temperature options added to the camera. (–20°C to +1200°C)
which has a cost of $2,150 CDN.

$14,950 US = $15,767.02 CDN + $2,150 CDN (for high temp options)

Total $17,917.02 CDN

The posting says $16,500 OBO, I am not sure what Or Best Offer means to you but in reality it means I will take the best offer related to the $16,500 CDN

Since you are judging prices you may want the readers to look at other sites with Flir B400's for sale.

Dan,
I think all Scott did was post a web site where there are similar cameras. I went to E-Bay and saw a new one for sale for $14,900 myself.

I'm in no way a Flir price specialist, but I can do a search and see what similar models are selling for.
I don't think Scott was making a comment on the value of your camera either. No need to get so touchy.

Dan, I posted it to provide more information about the camera... The site I used has a great deal of information about the camera.

I don't know squat about IR camera's other than I sure do see a bunch of folks trying to sell them after they buy them.

Have a nice day!

Thanks Scott,

I appreciate your help. Flir actually has recent, updated, 2010, information on their cameras at FLIR Thermal Imaging, Night Vision and Infrared Camera Systems (http://www.flir.com) and we are actually in the process of updating our cameras.
