Well, because there is at least an inch of algae all the way around. Because the water (?) level is below the skimmer. Because the pump is smoked because of lack of water. Did I miss anything?

From the second picture, it looks like there's a body floating in the pool.

Dead bodies should be fished out, everybody knows that. :)

You want to make sure that you don't pull too hard on the legs and arms. Pull one loose and you'll have a real mess in the pool.

The new dyeing process seems to be going swimmingly, I fully expect the pool to have that wonderful green color for years to come.

Funny thing is - the next door neighbor had the same type of pool, same rich colored "Algae Green". Accept this neighbor had a pet in the pool. :p

It is free to InterNACHI members. There's a fee for non-members.

I developed a free inspection checklist for pools/spas. Free to anyone. eChecklist - Inspection Procedural Checklist for Pools and Spas (http://www.bengromicko.com/echecklist-inspection-checklist-for-pools-and-spas.aspx)
