Saw this recently in a previously flooded basement. All the copper wire in the panel is corroded. Ductwork especially corroded too. All the drywall had been removed & hauled away, but does not sound like Chinese drywall issue anyway. Symptoms of that should be blackened wiring. Located in Noth East Maryland. Built in 1995.
Help on the cause of this corrosion would be greatly appreciated.

That's your most likely answer right there Dennis. Even though the panel may not have been underwater in the basement flood, the humidity levels down there were probably through the roof with the moisture getting into everything.

Nick;
A very wet/humid environment is the likely,simple answer. It's just that I have never seen so much corrosion in a panel that is otherwise fine.
Thanks
