August Lull

It's that time of year around here. August is a big vacation month with lots of people heading "down the shore". I know to expect this every year at this time which is why we take our week at the beach in August too.

My "August lull" started sometime in 2008.
While I have had times when I have been quite busy, I am nowhere near my numbers for 2007 (pretty typical year).

I joked last year that 6 was the new 10. During the summer the "typical" lead time used to be about a week to 10 days. Certainly not there this summer.
