Dumb question-

Is ventilation required in an enclosed laundry room with a gas dryer?

Either a window or mechanical vent to the exterior ( Iknow the gas dryer must be vented to the outside).

Thanks,
Mike

and is it a room, closet, or area, see also:

Air-to-Air exchanger can service this purpose.

Ventillation for occupied ROOM in addition to needed combustion air AND Make-up air required by the appliance(s).

2006 IRC, Section 2407 addresses this. Code, tables, drawings, etc. should have everything you need.

Ah, yes I see that now. Young grasshopper must learn from aged scholar to look around bush for bird before looking somewhere else. :D
