I saw that several weeks ago, the report said the mold was found during remodeling work. The inspector should sue her for breach of contract.

The inspection was done when they bought the home in 2007. Hopefully the inspection company makes a counter claim.

I hear ya Rick... I couldn't give a rat's arse about her but I was just hoping that no one on this forum was affected by this.

It took 3 years for the problem to become apparent to the residents, and now the inspector is at fault?
Maybe if he claimed to have done a mold inspection, he may have to defend himself. Otherwise. this shouldn't even be making the news. Stories like this are what makes ME sick. I should sue somebody. :)

It might be that it just took 3 years for it to make it to court, or hit the news, and the problem was apparent much earlier.
I'm working on a court case that involved construction problems. The house was less than a year old when I did the inspection. I did the inspection in September 2007. I was finally deposed last year, but court dates have changed at least 4 times. Its now set for November, but I'm not holding my breath.
