I have wanted a boat like this 55 footer for a long time.

I've had 6 boats over the years but one like this is on my I want list...

Best

Make sure it has a good bilge pump. The first time you pull away from the fuel dock, you'll be crying your eyes out. :(

I used to know a Bricky who would buy, live on, rehab and sell large boats/yachts like that. Gave him something to do during the winter months.
It's not miles per gallon with those things. It's gallons per mile.
I'd like to upgrade my 22' Oday but not to something that big.
I want a 911 Turbo and a few more motorcycles, don't see that happening anytime (soon).

Ron you need to try sailing. The price of fuel is minimal, and getting there fast doesn't matter because your already where you want to be.

You mean to tell me that you are a Home Inspector and you can't afford one of those? All the HI schools said I could make millions.

If I still had all the toys I sold over the years I'd be a rich man. Never had a boat though, I always considered them a hole in the water you throw money in.

Boat = Hole in Water that you throw money into!

I agree with Erby.

The best 2 days in a man's life, the day you buy a boat and the day you sell it.

Later, off to buy parts for my Vette.:D

No offense, but I have 8 boats and love em all. Yes, I spend some money, but It's doable. My 34' Mainship is 32 years old and runs like a top. Sleeps my family, holds my crap, and takes me to the fish. My sailboat is 54 years old and makes people smile when they see it. Now, I confess, retirement is not much of an option, but what would I do anyway?

Only 8 boats. What happened? Did you falls on hard times and have to get rid of the rest?

In re: "What do you want? You can't have it".

Youth, health, and wealth.

Can't take it with you, as "they" say, hindsight is 20/20!;) :p

What can I say, it's my heroin. But it's a family thing. I think I may have been fishing before I could walk. How does the line from the Wind in the Willows go? "There's nothing half so much fun as simply messing about in boats."
