That's what I've heard the past two weeks when I pick up my office phone. I had to dial the work # today just to make it still worked.
Sure makes some days pass along very sloooooooooowly.

Oh, good, I thought those crickets were only in my head.

I had a busy past few weeks. Now with all of the foreclosures formality screwups I have had 4 cancelations for the week, all were for repo homes. They were all put on hold and taken off the market untill they get the proper stamp of approval!
A good week to do a little marketing, to dethatch the yard and seal the driveway.

I must say, I have been getting a lot of *other* stuff done. :(
Would have booked only one HI last week, and could not even do that one as it was short notice and I had something else scheduled.
So worst week so far this year, including Jan-Feb.
And so far, nothing for this week as far as HI.:(:(
Fortunately, things leak even in a slow economy, and that end of the business is holding up, mostly off Angie's List.

I think I got a hernia moving my "to do" list over to the desk!!!
( I hate slow, excuses are so hard to come up with!)

Well, I hat to hear you are all slow. I have called several folks to find out if it was just me and it turns out that my maybe 1 or 2 a week has met or beet some folks. Got 2 this week for sure and maybe one...possibly 2 more this week. The only bread winner in this family. Cannot go to long with it this slow.
I have some spray for those crickets if they get annoying. ;)

I've actually been pretty busy for the past month and a half. Unfortunately it's due to one of my other full time inspectors getting hurt and unable to work for the next 6 months.

What did he do to injure himself that bad?
While inspecting a deck he slipped on the wet deck stairs (5 steps, no handrail) and landed on his back on the stairs. Ended up with a pinched spinal cord and lost feeling in the lower half of his body. Had surgery a couple weeks ago.
Be careful on those decks.

I had my 2nd best week in over a year last week and now this week looks like it will be the worst week in a year. It is a very wierd market right now.

Monday morning I picked up my phone to find it dead. It might have been dead since Friday afternoon for all I know. When i called AT&T they said it was a major thing and should be up around Thursday. They forwarded the phones to my cell, but it still didn't ring. (They did get it fixed within a day)
I would say that this past week has been like the week between Christmas and New Year's, except I usually have jobs then.
This year is turning out the be the worst ever since I moved to TN in 94.

Its getting really tough out there for the RE Agents - just a a listing broker pay out of pocket to get the gas turned on and THEN pay to have her own HVAC guy out to repair and restart a boiler so I could get out to to reinspect the heat and WH.
First time I've ever see THAT.

We had a great first two weeks of November but now it's gone dead... basically nothing for the upcoming week.
The only thing consistent is the inconsistency :)
