2010 Statistics just released by NAR....

2009-2010 homebuyers in NY, PA and NJ are:
37 years old;
57% of them are first-timers;
85% of them use an agent; and
90% bought an existing, single-family home.First-time buyers are:
30 years old;
they purchase mostly single-family homes (74%);
they work with an agent (84%); and
they purchase a house sized around 1,540 square feet.If you know your potential client, you can adjust your marketing to serve them well.

Avg age of ALL buyers is 37
57% of ALL buyers are first timers
Avg age of first timers is 30

Sounds like what you are implying is that YouTube is an effective way to market and present yourself, at least to these.

YouTube is useful, but just as any tool - like a hammer in a contractor's hand - you've got to know how to use it effectively.

First step is to identifying your client, then develop your niche service, then understand what your clients want, and finally communicate using your website (possibly using YouTube, but it's not necessary.)

Just make sure that your YouTube video is titled and tagged as 'First Time Home-buyer Tips and Strategies' as this is one of the most-search phrases out there for that market.
