Here's a condensing furnace sitting directly upon the garage floor (the burners are at the top of the unit) with it's condensate pump also upon the garage floor. The booklet says only the burners and ignition source must be elevated above 18-inches...okay, they are. But I'm thinking the condensate pump should at elevated to 18-inches as well. What do you think? Would you consider this motor to be exposed and possibly presenting a spark for ignition of garage gases/fumes?

The blower motor should also be considered an ignition source.

Looks like a Rheem sealed combustion unit (direct vent), I'd be more concerned with the clothes dryer sitting next to it.
