Covered service drop. Is it allowed? First time I've seen it. No way to check the tie point, or how the wires feed to the service panel cable.

I've seen some really stupid things before ... but that ranks right up there with the stupidest ones.

Now THAT IS the ideal place for the electrician to get out their Sawzall and start cutting things out of the way. :D (But do so carefully, of course.)
