I have to say, if there has ever been any one class that has improved my inspection skills it is this FIRE inspector certification class. I totaled up the amount of "estimated repair costs to the buyer" from inspections, and in the one year since I took his class we're up to $95,000. Well worth the money!

Marc, did you take the multi-day class or the one day one? I took the one day course a few years ago down in Virginia (Home Inspector and the Fireplace).. It was a very enlightening class and well worth it. I would recommend it to anybody.

I took the two or three day (can't remember now) class a few years back, and it was one of the two most useful classes I've attended - I only wish I had the time and money to travel for the full week version.

I did the week long course. I'm going in again next week for a couple of days. Yea, I agree...good stuff there.

Just finished the 2 day tech class...Another great class. Looking forward to the code classes he's developing.
BTW, add another $12, 500 from an inspection two days ago.
