The place was built in early 70's, I think:) Its a cabin back in BFE. What will happen first, hair caught in fan or getting zapped. Ever see this type of fan.

Oh, yeah seen tons of those. Wall and ceiling mounted. However, I would write it as D&H, as you already know.
I think more importantly you can also get them on the improper install and non-code compliance along with the safety hazard. They can't reasonably claim that install is from the 70's.
That shower tile and head are not from the 70's. That's a recent rehab. I know that just a few years ago you could still buy that style fan. Maybe it's new, maybe they cleaned up the old one. Either way, they remodeled the bathroom which means there should have been a permit, proper electrical upgrades and proper overall installation. If they did that, they did other BS.

I just picture the homeowner rinsing his/her hair in there for the first time and all the backsplash heading right into that running fan -- watch out!

Code requires either a fan or a window. This guy has both. Good show.

The fan is well beyond the 'minimal' fans you usually find. Designed for exactly this urpose, it's more often found in kitchens. It will move quite a bit more air than the usual fan, with the 'downside' of being noisier.

As with a light you can reach in the shower, this ought to be GFCI protected.

Sucking hair in? Try it- it's not going to happen.
