Came across my first rubber hosing radiant heat system and wondered if anyone else could help identify it. No markings on it other than "See BOCA Evaluation Services Inc. Research Report 90-61".

No problems noted at the four sets of manifolds, two for heat tubing stapled under the plywood main floor, two for tubing in the basement concrete.

System was installed in 1995/6.

I had no luck with Google and BOCA 90-61. Found a few other BOCA reports but not this one.

Thanks in advance for the help

Sounds like Goodyear Entran.

Finally got the pic ready to upload.

Note the date code is 09 17 95 Z so surely not Entran II. No other warks anywhere that I could see.

Thanks Charlie,

It sure looks like Entran II, but I hope you are wrong. ;)

Everything I have read suggests that they stopped making Entran II in '93 or '94. The lawsuits were going pretty good by '95 and surely the news had reached even as far north as us Canadians by '96.

Seems that the Entran II stuff was all pretty well labelled, with Heatway and possibly a trade name like Entran, Nytran or Twintran.

I'm really hoping someone will have some information about the BOCA Evaluation Services marking for a different perspective on this.
