Back in 1985, when I was a superintendent for a construction company, we dd a large built-to suit for AT&T.

They (AT&T) did the finish design through-out.
The wall paper that was selected for the bath rooms was soooo bad, it gave you a headache when you were in there. I spoke to AT&T's on site rep about it. He said it was designed so the workers spent as little time as possible in the bathrooms.

I had to rub my eyes a lot during this inspection. You could have put the shirt on, and stood against the wall, that would sure give the clients a jolt. :D

There was also a chair in the master bedroom upholstered with the same fabric pattern.

The tastes of some folk - really different! Not as bad as the small half-bath with black and white checked wall paper, matching tile floor, and wall papered ceiling. I got so dizzy I had to leave the room.

well that is something that the code books just don't know how to address. some like more spice in life some don't some just want to blend everything in. like they say different strokes for different folks

I once did a house and had a devil of a time finding the distribution panel. Asked the seller. He didn't know. Found it in the hall neatly papered over by a previous owner.
