Anybody got a guess at what the maximum vertical lift a condensate can pump water?

Today's basement had a 16 foot ceiling  and the condensate pump was trying to lift water from the basement floor up and out the sidewall about 3 feet above grade level. Roughly 19ft, over a hairpin turn in the flex line.

There was rust running out of the A/C unit so presumably the condensate lines were backed up.

Tried posting pics but apparently there are too large. :(

Whatever the pump is rated for, there are several sizes, capacities, and HP of condensate pumps.

Here is a site that shows your basic pumps. It looks like you are right at the cut-off point for the smaller ones.

Also be sure the discharge line is properly sized.

Thanks! Should have googled around a bit. Looks like common sizes provide 13'-15' of lift. Probably undersized pump for the particular installation.
