I see this quite often and posted regarding this issue before. Are ties recommended at these connections. Also I see this often, where the 2x4's are connected to the rafters, resting on decking below. Is this typically used at bracing or temp support when framing. Single family home built in 04 Comination of trusses and rafters with ridge beam.
